Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar fashion to The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards obsessively watching dumb action films. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some recognition in their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. Beginning in early 2015, she stayed on the channel while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She has appeared on Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well in occasional adult-oriented comedies (such as Baywatch 2017.). When she began reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame in the forums of Channel Awesome. After joining the official family that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a member the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
